This page of the website features an interactive GIS experience using an extensive database from the South West. It has been specially designed by Harry West (University of the West of England) to address the interests and demands of GCSE and A level specifications. It can, of course, be used with younger students as an introduction to GIS.

Choose a suitable basemap from the menu and explore the patterns revealed by the miriad datasets. You can zoom-in and hover to reveal small area data.

In the forthcoming months, we will add additional datasets to make this the most comprehensive and exciting South West GIS experiences on offer.
