This page will also host contributions from  classroom teachers and Subject Leaders, providing opportunities for sharing best practice.  Hopefully, you will feel inspired and can, subsequently, be confident that high-quality geography is taking place within your school.

Alan is a teacher at King's Ely Junior. He is a Primary Geography Champion, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Chartered Geographer.

Emma Espley

Author/Consultant

Emma is an experienced Teacher of Geography and now Freelance Author and Consultant.  She established and steers a Primary Humanities Network, is a Consultant to the GA, as well as a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Chartered Geographer.

Contribute

Our aim is to promote geography and geographical education in the South West of England. Geography SW is a collaborative project driven by a group of enthusiastic geographers who have volunteered their time to create a wide-ranging and dynamic resource to support the wider geographical community.
