BBC Bitesize - Travel with Barnaby Bear (KS1 Geography)

Setting work for KS1 pupils during lockdown can be quite a challenge.  However, why not suggest that they spend some time watching clips from the BBC Bitesize's Travel with Barnaby Bear series?  The 34 clips will certainly help them develop their place and locational knowledge, as well as familiarise them with many aspects of physical and human geography.  Some children may have visited the same places with parents/carers and could be encouraged to share their own personal experiences with you via any medium that they deem appropriate.  You may also learn something more about the children in your class through the latter activity too.
