UWE Guide to geographical research

Introduction

One of the many transferable skills of a geographer is our ability to undertake independent high quality research projects, which underpins the theory of our discipline and makes a difference in practice. However we know that undertaking our own research project as a student can be a daunting prospect, especially for coursework such as the A-Level NEA.

 

To help with the geographers at the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE) have put together this guide to research in geography to help with your investigations. The guide will take you through the process from start to finish – setting up your research questions to the conclusion of your report. There are also lots of example research questions listed by topic area.
